Keep track of possessions while the building is being assessed and dried. This checklist helps organize decisions; a dry-looking surface does not establish that an item is clean, safe, or repairable.

Handle only items the team says you can safely access and move. Leave items exposed to sewage or floodwater for assessment. Do not switch on wet electronics, move unstable furniture, or carry contaminated belongings through unaffected rooms.
