YKCA Restoration
We Dry It Out and Build It Back
24/7 emergency water damage restoration across the Bay Area — extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire and smoke cleanup. Because we hold both a C-10 electrical and a General B building license, the same crew that dries your property also rebuilds it. One contract instead of two.

What We Do
The gap most restoration jobs fall into.
A pipe fails at two in the morning. A restoration company arrives, extracts the water, sets fans for four days, collects a check, and leaves. Now your walls are open, your floor is gone, and you are starting over: finding a general contractor, waiting for a second bid, re-explaining the whole loss to somebody who was not there.
That gap is where restoration projects stall for months. YKCA closes it. We hold a General B building license alongside our C-10 electrical license, which means one team owns the job from the emergency call through the final coat of paint — extraction, drying, mold, electrical, drywall, flooring, finishes.
And because we are electricians first, the part that most restoration crews have to subcontract — flooded panels, wet circuits, corroded breakers — gets handled on day one by the people already standing in your house.
Dried, rebuilt, and finished by one team.

Why It Matters
Two licenses, one contract.
Restoration and reconstruction are legally two different trades. Most companies in this category hold the mitigation side only, which is why the rebuild always becomes somebody else's problem — and your second project.
YKCA INC holds CSLB license #1158693: C-10 electrical and General B building, both active, bonded and insured. That combination is what lets us sign one contract for the whole loss.
Verify the license yourself: CSLB #1158693. We would rather you check than take our word for it.
Licensed C-10 & General B
Mitigation and reconstruction under one CSLB license, not two vendors.
IICRC Certified
Water damage restoration performed to IICRC S500 industry standard.
W-2 Crews, No Subcontractors
The same technicians on day one and on the final walkthrough.
Carrier-Ready Documentation
Photos, moisture maps, and daily drying logs sent straight to your adjuster.
How It Goes
From the emergency call to the final coat of paint.
Six steps, one crew, one contract — and you always know which step you are on.
You call
Answered live, 24/7. We walk you through shutting off the water and the power to affected circuits before we even leave the shop.
We stabilize
Source stopped, standing water extracted, contents moved, and the electrical hazards identified and isolated by a licensed electrician on the first visit.
We document
Photos, moisture map, affected-material inventory, and a written scope — the package your adjuster needs, delivered directly to them.
We dry
Air movers and dehumidifiers set, then daily moisture readings logged until every affected material reaches dry standard.
We rebuild
Drywall, flooring, paint, trim, and electrical restored under one contract — the part most restoration companies hand off to somebody else.
We close it out
Final walkthrough, final moisture documentation, and warranty paperwork. Permits pulled and inspections signed off where the scope required them.
Working With Your Insurer
Documented so thoroughly there is little left to argue about.
From the moment we walk in, we photograph the loss, map the moisture, inventory affected materials, and log drying readings every single day. That package goes directly to your adjuster in the format carriers expect.
We work alongside your carrier — we do not negotiate or adjust the claim on your behalf, which under California law is the role of a licensed public adjuster rather than a contractor. And we will never offer to absorb or discount your deductible: that is insurance fraud, and any contractor who proposes it is telling you exactly how they run every other part of the job.
Also Worth Knowing
Three things people ask about before they call.
Where We Respond
Four counties, one dispatch.
San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties — the same service area our electrical crews already cover, which is why we can get to you quickly instead of routing a truck from another region.
Water losses do not wait for business hours, and neither does dispatch — the phone is answered around the clock.
